Adobe MAX 2017 - The Creativity Conference



This year for adobe max 2017, were held on 18 to 20 October 2017 at Las Vegas, Nevada. With hundreds keynote speakers (134 speakers) from various field; Creative careers, Graphic and UX Design, Illustration and Creative Imaging, Photography, Video. These speakers are from various companies other than Adobe.

Preconference labs were held on 16th until 17th of October. Then Sessions, labs, and creativity workshops were held from 18th to 20th October along with Community Pavilion session.



In this event, Adobe announce four new application that will be part of next generation creative cloud. the applications are adobe XD cc for experience design, Adobe Dimension CC for 2D to 3D compositing, Character Animator CC for 2D animation and Cloud-based photography service, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC. In addition, creative cloud also will have updates for graphic designers, including Illustrator CC, InDesign CC and new visual search and font recognition capabilities in Adobe Typekit and Capture CC.

Adobe also introduce a new adobe capabilities which is adobe sensei. Adobe sensei is an artificial intelligence (AI) and a machine learning (ML) platform which is will be intergrated in all upcoming adobe updates. similar to siri, adobe sensei will have voice recognition capabilities into its applications.

"Adobe continues to lead the creative revolution, driving modernisation and innovation that will accelerate the creative process across all platforms and devices," Bryan Lamkin, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Digital Media at Adobe.



If you follow Adobe's recent updates, you might notice that they released couples product and updates these recent months. For example, some of you might notice Adobe Color CC which an online library of custom color swatches, or Adobe Stock which an online motion graphics templates collection.

For desigers out there, Adobe Color CC is great place to create, add or download color pallets or swatches. There's also custom swatches which most of them are really cool and great to add into your collection.

For motion designers, there's new collection of templates or stock you would add into your collection. Three acclaimed motion designers, Andrew Kramer from Adobe and Video Copilot, Valentina Vee, and Nik Hill, whose templates are now available on Adobe Stock.
